I’m happy to read it’s a happy and calm decision. I made the same one two years ago and quit a 11 year old career on YouTube. I so needed the break to fill the well, as you said. And now I’m so ready for the next chapter. I’m sure whatever comes now is exactly what you need.
oh that's so exciting! During the process of making the decision I was hunting down other examples and stories of youtubers who had left and so nice to "meet" someone who's done the same!
This makes total sense, and I'm so glad you've chose to enter a new phase for yourself! I would rather you be a creator intentional about what you create, and knowing when you've done what you can, then producing videos for the sake of it. I am all about new life changes because human beings are not static (though the internet likes to render us so), so sending lots of luck and love.
Will ofc miss your videos on the HW channel, but totally understand!! I think it’s awesome to have a celebratory and purposeful ending too, instead of letting something fizzle out and fade away.

I grew up watching the Hannah Witton channel and it taught me about my body, sexuality and so much more. I’ll be forever thankful for that as a 23 year old disabled and pregnant person. I grew with the channel and it makes sense that that can’t continue forever.
