I got really good at the start of the year to follow a weekly schedule where Thursdays would be my creative days and Friday afternoons would be my leisure time. I followed it quite loyally until about February when my work started picking up (self-employed) and I started getting paid opportunities during my scheduled 'me' time and it's JUST. SO. HARD. TO. SAY. NO. Gahhh. I'm definitely much better now than I used to be (I used to say yes to everything and then hit burnout several times a year), but I know I still have a way to go before I master the balance. But, do we EVER truly master the balance? Or is life always one big juggle? Who knows!
Wow, funnily enough, today I'm going out in a scheduled date with myself to rest from some very hectic weeks.
I have also taken into account the time I need before I get stressed about my "to-do" list, which is very packed lately xD
